GUNVOR MAERSK

Gunvor MaerskAlthough she's not as large as the new PS-series Maersk vessel (amongst which are the Emma Maersk and Eleonora Maersk) the Gunvor Maersk (IMO: 9302891, Port of Registry: Aalborg, Denmark) is still one of the larger containerships owned by Maersk with its length of 367 meters, width of 43 meters and teu capacity of up to 9000. The vessel was built in 2005 by Odense Steel Shipyard, Denmark.

The Gunvor Maersk arrived this morning at the APM terminal, Rotterdam coming in from Bremerhaven. After Rotterdam the vessel will set sail for Felixstowe before returning to the Far East again.
