| Woodchip carrier Daio Azalea (IMO:9128570, Port of Registry: 9128570) is bulk carrier specially designed for transporting all kinds of dry cargo such as woodchips, but also soybean meal, which is a flour made by grinding the solid residue of soybean oil production. It is widely used as a filler and source of protein in animal diets. The Daio Azalea is a handymax sized vessel with a length of 199.9 meter and width of 32.3 meter. She has a deadweight of 49,580 tons and a cargo capacity of 102,232 m3. The vessel was built in 1995 at Imabari Shipbuilding Co., Ltd and is propelled by a 7,722 KW Akasaka Diesel engine. The Daio Azalea is operated by Taiyo Nippon Kisen Co., Japan. The Daio Azalea is scheduled to arrive this afternoon at the Laurenshaven, Rotterdam Botlek with a load of soybean meal from San Lorenzo, Argentina. SMT BONTRUP
The SMT Bontrup (IMO: 7715953, Port of Registry: Nassau, Bahama's) is a belt-unloading bulkcarrier used for stone carrying and dumping. The SMT Bontrup was built in 1987 as the bulk carrier Hoegh Minerva. She was converted to her current form just recently at "VDS Staal en Machinebouw", Holland. The vessel is 200.5 meters long, 30.8 meters wide and has a maximum draught of 11.56 meters. She is powered by a MAN K8SZ 70/125 engine, which gives the vessel a maximum speed of 14.5 knots. The vessel is equipped with two 42 tonnes travelling gantry cranes, two 13 cubic meter clamshell buckets and carries her cargo in 10 holds (strengthened for heavy cargo) with a capacity of 1,764,385 cubic feet. She has a 9 meter outreach on either side.The SMT Bontrup is arrived this morning at the Yanghtzehaven, Rotterdam with a load of stone from Bremanger Quarry, Norway to be used in the Maasvlakte 2 project.

MARGOT N
| The Margot N (IMO: 8707226, Port of Registry: Monrovia, Liberia) is a 322 meters long, 56 meters wide ore carrier with a deadweight of 255,000 and a maximum draught of almost 20 meters. The vessel is propelled by a MAN Diesel, 6S80MC-C Mk. VII type, engine delivering a power of 20,377 KW and giving the vessel a maximum speed of 14 knots. She was built in 1989 at Hyundai Heavy Industries, Korea as the Niels Maersk as a single-hulled tanker and converted to an ore carrier in 2008. She is currently operated by Neu Seeschiffahrt, Germany. The Margot N will arrive later this afternoon at the EECV terminal, Rotterdam for discharging iron ore from Tubarao.
