BERGE FJORD

Berge FjordThe Berge Fjord (IMO: 8314471, Port of Registry: Panama) is an ore carrier built in 1987 by Ishikawajima do Brazil Estaleiros, Brasil as the Docefjord. She was renamed in 2000 to Berge Fjord and named BW Fjord in 2007 (as shown on the picture). In January 2010 her name was changed back into Berge Fjord. The vessel is 332 metres long, 57 metres wide, has a maximum draught of over 23 metres and is currently operated by BW Shipping, Norway. These dimensions give the vessel a deadweight tonnage of over 310,000.

The Berge Fjord will arrive this morning at the EMO terminal Rotterdam carrying a load of iron ore from Tubarao, Brasil.

GRACE N

Grace NBulk carrier Grace N (Port of Registry: Monrovia, Liberia, IMO: 8118267) has a deadweight tonnage of 224,222, is 312 meters long, 50 meters wide and has a maximum draught of 20 meters. She has 9 holds and hatches and was built in 1983 by Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Ind. Co., Japan. Until about three years ago, the vessel was known as the Elbe Ore. Before that she was named Frontier Maru. The Grace N is owned by General Ore Carrier Corporation IX and managed by Neu Seeschiffahrt GmbH, Hamburg, Germany.

The Grace N arrived this morning at the EMO Bulk Terminal, Rotterdam from Tubarao, Brasil carrying a shipment of ore.

The vessel is 332 metres long, 57 metres wide and has a maximum draught of over 23 metres and is currently operated by BW Gas, Norway. These dimensions give the vessel a deadweight tonnage of 310,000.

The BW Fjord arrived this morning at the EMO terminal Rotterdam carrying a load of iron ore from Tubarao, Brasil. She will stay there for about 5 days before leaving again to Tubarao. She will return then within about 6 weeks to Rotterdam.
