The Pieter Schelte will arrive this afternoon at the Alexiahaven, Maasvlakte 2, Rotterdam. No tugs will be needed since the vessel is equipped with a state-of-the-art positioning system which keeps the vessel in place using her twelve thrusters with a combined power of 95 MW. The arrival in Rotterdam has been thouroghly simulated with wind speeds of 6 bft. The Pieter Schelte will stay in Rotterdam until april for outfitting the vessel with the 16 hydraulic beams built by the Italian company Cimolai.
