The Penelop (IMO: 9325908, Port of Registry: Nassau, Bahama's) is a crude oil tanker of 253 metres long, 44 metres wide and a draught of almost 15 metres. She has a gross tonnage of 63,448 and a deadweight tonnage of 114,500. The Penelop is managed by Lundqvist Rederierna, Finland and was built in 2006 by Daewoo Shipbuilding, Korea. The vessel is mainly deployed between the Baltic area and Rotterdam.
The Penelop is expected to arrive this evening at the Shell Europoort terminal, carrying a load of crude oil from Primorsk, Russia.
