The CMA CGM Carmen (IMO: 9318046, Port of Registry: Monrovia, Liberia) is an in 2006, by Hyundai Samho Industries built, Post-Panamax container vessel, capable of transporting up to 8,200 teu. She is 334 metres long, almost 43 metres wide, has a maximum draught of about 15 metres and a deadweight tonnage of 100,600. The CMA CGM Carmen was the seventh in a series of newbuildings comprising a total of nine units of that size. Her sisters are (amongst others): CMA CGM Don Carlos, Parsifal and Nabucco.
The CMA CGM Carmen arrived in the Port of Rotterdam last night. She is currently berthed at the ECT Delta Terminal and will depart within 36 hours.
