HANNELORE & FAME

HanneloreToday we have two oldies featuring as the SotD, namely the general cargo vessel Hannelore (IMO: 6602513, Port of Registry: Leer, Germany) and the general cargo vessel Fame (IMO: 6609901, Port of Registry: Bergen, Norway). The Hannelore was built in 1965 as the Adele Hagenah by Flensburger Schiffsbau-Gesellschaft, Germany. She is 55 metres long, 9 metres wide and has a gross tonnage of 658. She is owned by Maritime Experts Ems. She is propelled by a 605 kW MaK 6-cylinder engine.

The Fame was built in 1966 as the Solfjord by Leirvik Module Technology AS, Norway. The vessel is 54 metres long, 9 metres wide and has a gross tonnage of 549. She is owned by Sandgrevstur P/F, Faroe Islands.

The Hannelore is expected to arrive later tonight at the Nieuwe Waterweg Silo, Schiedam. The Fame is also expected to arrive tonight. She will berth at the Parkkade, Rotterdam.
