BING N

Bing NToday's SOTD is the Bing N(IMO:9002776, Port of registry: Monrovia, Liberia), in the picture shown under her old name "Bergeland". The Bing N is the largest vessel in the fleet of her operator Neu Seeschiffahrt, Germanu and a bit smaller than the Berge Stahl. With her deadweight of 322,941 tons she is currently the 5th largest bulk ore carrier sailing. This in 1992 built, 338 meters long, 55 meters wide, ore carrier has a draught of 23 meters, has 7 holds and hatches and was built by Hyundai Heavy Ind. Co. Ltd. Ulsan, Korea.

The Bing N arrived this morning at the EMO terminal, Rotterdam from Saldanha Bay, South Africa with a load of iron ore.
