JB 115

The JB 115 (IMO: 8770730, Port of Registry: Nassau, Bahama's) is a four-legged multipurpose self-elevating unit (also called: Jack-up Barge), equipped with a 330 tonne crane and a helideck for operation of a Super Puma or equivalent. The rig is 55 meters long and 32 meters wide. She has a maximum leg length of 79 meters. She is capable of operation in a maximum water depth of 40 meters. The JB 115 was built in 2009 by Drydocks World SE Asia, Indonesia together with the JB 114 and provides accomodation to a maximum crew of 160 persons. The rig is operated by Jack-up Barge B.V., The Netherlands.

The JB 115 is expected to arrive later tonight at Keppel Verolme Shipyard under tow by the tug Brent.
