SCF SURGUT

SCF SurgutThe SCF Surgut (IMO: 9422445, Port of Registry: Monrovia, Liberia) is a Suez-max crude oil tanker delivered in 2009 by Hyundai Heavy industries to join the fleet of the largest Russian shipping company Sovcomflot. The tanker is named after one of the oldest cities of Siberia - the centre of Russia's largest oil region, a kind of unofficial oil developing capital of Russia. The vessel is 274 meters long, 48 meters wide and has a maximum draught of 17.15 meters. These dimension give the vessel a deadweight tonnage of 158,290. She is managed by Unicom Management Services, Cyprus.

The SCF Surgut arrived this morning at the Europoort Tank Terminal, Rotterdam on her maiden voyage from Singapore.
