OTELLO

The M/V Otello will make its first call to Rotterdam today. The car carrier was delivered on August 25 by Daewoo Heavy Industries Ltd, Korea and registered in the Swedish Register of Ships. She is a sister ship to M/V AIDA, with the same main dimensions, i.e. 200 m long and 32.2 m wide with a loading capacity of 6.700 cars. She will sail for Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics. and owned by Wallenius Lines which is a privately-owned shipping company, founded in 1934 by Olof Wallenius. The fleet consists of 40 vessels, transporting approximately two million cars and trucks worldwide. The fleet is chartered and commercially operated by companies in which Wallenius Lines is a shareholder. Wallenius Lines is also an active investor and part-owner in several other international shipping and logistics companies.

The Otello has entered Rotterdam this morning from Antwerp and has berthed at the Rotterdam Car Terminal.
