GUNVOR MAERSK

Although it is not as big as the Emma Maersk the Gunvor Maersk is still one of the largest containerships owned by Maersk with its length of 367 meters, width of 43 meters and teu capacity of up to 9000. The vessel was built in 2005 by Odense Steel Shipyard, Denmark.

The Gunvor Maersk is due to arrive this afternoon at the APM terminal, Rotterdam coming in from Bremerhaven, Germany. After Rotterdam the vessel will set sail for Algeciras, Spain and from there it will sail towards the Far East. The vessel will return in Rotterdam within two months.
