| The Samco Europe (IMO: 9315159, Port of Registry: Marseille, France) is a Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) with a length of 334 metres, a width of 60 metres, a draught of 22.5 metres and a deadweight capacity of 317,700 tons. The vessel was delivered in 2007 by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, Korea and is currently operated by Samco Shipholding. She is propelled by a 29,340 kW 6S90 MC-C Hyundai Heavy engine and can transport up to 346261 tonnes of crude oil. The Samco Europe arrived this morning at the MET terminal, Rotterdam from Bejaia, Algeria and will stay there discharging for a few days. |
