ALEXANDER THE GREAT

Alexander the GreatToday's Ship of the Day is the 330 meters long, 60 meters wide crude oil tanker Alexander the Great (IMO: 9377418, Port of Registry: Monrovia, Liberia). The Alexander the Great was delivered this year from Ariak Shipyard, Universal Shipbuilding Corporation, Japan. She has a summer deadweight of 297,950 tons and a maximum draught of 21.5 meters. The vessel has a cargo capacity of 340,000 cubic meters of crude oil and the cargo pumps have a capacity of 3 x 5,500 m3 per hour. She is propelled by a MAN B&W 7S80MC, 25,090 kW engine and is managed by Capital Ship management, Piraeus, Greece.

The Alexander the Great will arrive this afternoon at the Maasvlakte Oil Terminal fully loaded.
