STAD AMSTERDAM

Stad AmsterdamThe Stad Amsterdam (IMO: 9185554, Port of Registry: Amsterdam) is a clipper in historical style built between 1997 and 2000 at the initiative of Randstad and the municipality of Amsterdam. The ship has 14 luxury cabins, a spacious dining room (for dinners and presentations) and an open-air bar. The Stad Amsterdam can be privately booked for business events, luxury cruises and adventurous sailing trips. The steel-hulled vessel is 78 meters long, 10 meters wide, has a sail surface of 2,200 m2 and can also be propelled by her 749 KW engine.

The Stad Amsterdam arrived this morning at the Holland Amerikakade from IJmuiden. The vessel should have sailed to Oostende with a visit to the UK, but due to bad weather, she will visit Rotterdam now.
