| The Celebrity Eclipse (IMO: 9404314, Port of Registry: Valletta, Malta) is a 317 meters long, 36.8 meters wide cruiseship of the Solstice class, operated by Celebrity Cruises. She is the third Solstice-class after the Celebrity Solstice and Celbrity Equinox. The Eclipse was launched in February 2010, has 17 seventeen decksand has a maximum passenger capacity of 2,852 with a crew of about 1,271. The vessel is propelled by 4 Wartsila diesels with a combined power of combined 91,364 kW providing a maximum speed of 24 knots. The Celebrity Eclipse is quite unique with 85% of all staterooms having sweeping veranda views. Of course, there are several restaurants on board, a spa, casino, multiple pools etc. etc. Celebrity Eclipse's official maiden voyage was on April 29, 2010, departing Southampton to Cobh, Ireland. Throughout the Summer, she sails the Mediterranean, Russia and Scandinavia. The Celebrity Eclipse arrived this morning at the Holland Amerikakade, Rotterdam on her 14 day trip visiting Southampton, Zeebrugge, Warnemunde, Stockholm, Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Tallinn and Rotterdam before returning to Southampton.
