XIN HONG KONG

Xin Hong KongThe Xin Hong Kong (IMO: 9314222, Port of Registry: Hong Kong) is one of the larger containervessels sailing with her length of 336.7 metres, width of 45.6 metres and a maximum draught of 15 metres. She can carry a maximum of 18 rows of containers by eight tiers on the weather deck and 16 rows by 10 tiers in the holds which gives the vessel a total capacity of 9,600 teu. She was built in 2007 at Samsung Shipbuilding & Heavy Industries, Korea and owned by China Shipping Container Lines. The ship is propelled by an MAN B&W 12K98MC-C Mk6 engine, with a power of 68,520 kW. During sea trials the ship achieved a ballast service speed of 25.4 knots. The CSCL Pusan, Xin Shanghai and Xin Los Angeles are her sistervessels.

The Xin Hong Kong arrived at the port of Rotterdam this morning from Hamburg. She is berthed at the ECT Delta terminal, Rotterdam.

STANISLAV YUDIN

Heavy-lift vessel Stanislav Yudin (IMO: 8219463, Port of Registry: Limassol, Cyprus) is a self-propelled crane vessel. The vessel was built in 1985 and is featured by a 2500-mt fully revolving Gusto crane with a maximum lifting height above water level of 78 meters, 2500 m2 of free deck space, accomodation for 143 perseons and a high transit speed of 12 knots. The Stanislav Yudin is propelled by three Wartsila engines with a combined power of 4,095 kW. She is operated by Seaway Heavy lifting, The Netherlands.

The Stanislav Yudin is expected to arrive later tonight at the Rhenus Logistics Maasvlakte terminal, Rotterdam.

ORANGE SUN

The Orange Sun (IMO: 9342580, Port of Registry: Monrovia, Liberia) is one of the largest juice tankers in the world with a total cubic capacity of 29,120 m3. The vessel is 204.85 meters long, 32.2 meters wide, has a maximum draught of 11.4 meters and a deadweight tonnage of 43,420. She was delivered in 2007 from builders Stx Floro AS, Norway to her owners. The Orange Sun is owned by Arctic Reefer and managed by Atlanship S.A., Switzerland.

The Orange Sun is scheduled to arrive this afternoon at the Continental Juice Terminal, Rotterdam from Santos, Brazil where she will stay a few day for unloading her cargo.

SAMCO EUROPE

The Samco Europe (IMO: 9315159, Port of Registry: Marseille, France) is a Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) with a length of 334 metres, a width of 60 metres, a draught of 22.5 metres and a deadweight capacity of 317,700 tons. The vessel was delivered in 2007 by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, Korea and is currently operated by Samco Shipholding. She is propelled by a 29,340 kW 6S90 MC-C Hyundai Heavy engine and can transport up to 346261 tonnes of crude oil.

The Samco Europe arrived this morning at the MET terminal, Rotterdam from Bejaia, Algeria and will stay there discharging for a few days.
